Taphao Kaew

from Exoplanets volume 1 by Paul Nagle

/

about

This planet (aka 47 Ursae Majoris) orbits the star Chalawan. It's a place of prime, evil and primeval swamp and no takeaways. This grim and forbidding world is also known for its cold winds, wet days and craggy rocks covered in dank seaweed.
Taphao Kaew's highest lifeform is a lizard called Keith. Keith thinks life is just groovy, unlike most of his fellow lizards who'd prefer it a bit less bleak and the radiophonics toned down slightly.

Instruments:
Cirklon laying down 74BPM (not that you'd know it)
Synthi/Eventide Space being spacey but not Kevin. Ho ho.
Lots of LFOs. Carried away patching so used 4 filters – the AJH, Digisound, Wasp and Tonestar's own.
Tonestar was main module, processed by AJH ring mod and Sonic XV filter, also Clouds (Parasite).
Also uses the DLD.
Octocontroller used (maxed out), Vermona Fourmulator too, and Intellijel Quadra. Fed Quadnic into Tonestar input to add extra atonal mayhem. Used Demora. Used Marble Physics quite a lot.
