Seekers of Oblivion & ZigZagZog

from and darkness falls... by Paul Nagle

about

While most of the tracks are intended to overlap slightly, these could not be separated. In lieu of a CD version you'll have to guess where the switch occurs. :)
The majority of the sounds are from my Digisound modular with extras from the Synthi roaring away in the background, plus SH-101 and Perfourmer. It was arranged in a way Conrad used to work, various recordings stiched together in a way that sounded interesting to me. Were I a more ruthless person there are a few small sections I'd have trimmed or tamed, but if you love something, set it free, right? The second track reminds me a lot of the first CS album I ever bought, Con although it lacks Peter Baumann's refined production and sense of space.

P.S. I realise this will cock up the track numbers as I don't think bandcamp can cope with joined tracks. If it could I might do the whole album as a single wav.

I need to thank Keith Winstanley for building me two VCDOs for my modular that are used here.
