about

This should have a subtitle 'movie music' but I can't tell you why. I realise I shouldn't have fiddled with the track mutes for the catchy solo part but I'd probably been playing for some hours without a break. It's not quite so easy/fun muting and unmuting using the Octatrack as it is, say, on a Sequentix sequencer. To my mind, Elektron got track select and mute the wrong way round in terms of accessibility. That meant they had to bodge up a whole other mode to enable quicker live track mutes/unmutes, the silly sausages.
