about

These tracks are all P3 sequencer performances of a generally ambient nature. In one track (too-ripe pianos), the Cirklon sequencer is drafted in because I needed to loop 2 almost-identical 8 bar piano parts. If you are curious, the difference is that the copy got 2 extra (blank) steps of a 9th bar.

And, yes, the cover is not without the influence of 'Grosses Wasser'.

Most of this material is sequenced live on 4 parts of a Novation KS-4 synth drenched in an OTO BAM reverb. Tony Allgood's analogue delay helps too, plus his SRE-330 chorus sweetens the KS-4's edges and coaxes some cool string sounds from a Volca FM, mostly heard in its reverb imprint.
Once, a DSI Pro2 sequencer pattern plays. What else? Well, some Minimoog and Soma Pipe feature in a couple of brief overdubs and perhaps there's a very tiny bit of V-Synth somewhere, and a Synthi wailing through the reverb in the far distance. Those things happen around here.

Anyway, minimal.
