about

This is from the mid 1980s so be aware it has a fair slice of cheese in between the bread, salad and gristle. I know the old stuff is probably best left in the past but this one was dusted off for a CDR release by Reverb Worship a whiles back. (Interestingly I rarely used reverb in the old days, just my Melos tape delay. Actually, is that interesting? I have no idea...)

Anyway, this was much improved from the original wobbly tape by Kevin Busby, plus I restrained that 'sync solo' noise from the JX-3P which always annoyed me by its brutality. The photo is by Kathryn Hill.

The Path is placed here more for historical purposes than anything else. I'm historical, me.

Instruments include my trusty Roland CR-8000 drum machine, JX-3P and a pair of TB-303s driving better-sounding synths (Korg MS50 and Sequential Circuits Pro 1). There's the ubiquitous DX-7 in here plus MS-20 and SQ-10. Ah, those were the days.

If anyone's interested I have half a dozen CDRs of it lying around, although whether I could be arsed finding jiffy bags for them is another matter ;)
